Elisse, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences and the photos are just fantastic.
As William James said, “My experience is what I agree to attend to” and you are filling your experience with magic and humor. Keep it up and keep warm!
Love knowing what you're up to! Pics are great, as well. Thanks for taking me to Montréal! How exciting. David looks chipper and snazzy. Who watches Izzy? Jeff keeps asking for a time table of how long it takes you to get to your grocery store and errands and how often you go.
Two friends from college kindly watched Izzie for the weekend. The general store is walking distance; the closest Food Co-Op is about ten minutes away. But the place I usually do a bigger shopper (a larger Food Co-Op) is about a half hour away. A far cry from the walk we used to do to 24th Street or Bi-Rite Market...
Another wonderful blog post. I feel like I’m right there with you. On the trails, in Montreal, at Simon Pearce... You capture the essence of the place so well. You’re an anthropologist studying this other culture. Thanks for taking us along.
What a beautiful posting. A good reminder not to judge a book or a sheep farmer. And not only do your words and message sing, but those photos are spectacular.
Love your insights, humor, perceptions, and clarity. Looking forward to your next communication. Your choice of pictures always bring a smile to my face.
Thanks for taking us on your adventure! I love seeing your blog in my in box. And Simon Pearce! I have a SP vase that I treasure -- so much love and character in that glass. Big love to you and David.
